Frequently asked questions

Which country should I incorporate in?

It depends on where your customers and payment providers are. US LLCs suit online businesses selling globally; a UK Ltd is fast and affordable for European clients; Estonia works well for solo founders who want everything digital. Compare all 11 on our countries page or email us for a recommendation.

Do I need to live in the country to open a company there?

No. Every jurisdiction we support allows non-resident founders. You provide identity documents online, and we handle the local filing and the registered address requirement for you.

How long does incorporation take?

Between 1 and 15 business days depending on the jurisdiction. A UK Ltd is typically registered in 1–2 business days, a US LLC in 3–5, a German GmbH in 10–15. Each country page shows its current timeline.

Can I open a business bank account remotely?

In most cases yes. We prepare your documents and introduce you to providers such as Wise, Mercury or Payoneer that onboard non-residents online. Final approval always rests with the provider and depends on your business profile.

What documents will I receive?

The certificate of incorporation, a registry extract, the founding documents, confirmation of your registered address and your tax registration details — all delivered digitally as soon as they are issued.

What happens after the company is formed?

You can add ongoing services at any time: bookkeeping, annual filings, VAT or sales tax registration, a mail-forwarding address and trademark registration. One provider for the whole life of the company.

Are there hidden fees?

No. Packages have a fixed price, and where government fees apply they are listed before you pay. If a jurisdiction requires an extra step, we quote it before doing anything.

Is Yorkmark a law firm?

No. Yorkmark provides company formation and administrative services. For matters that require regulated legal or tax advice, we tell you so and recommend consulting a licensed professional in the relevant jurisdiction.
