Business banking and payments

Business accounts with Wise, Mercury or Payoneer, plus Stripe and PayPal set up so you can take money the week you launch.

  • Fully remote
  • No hidden fees

Business banking and payments is what gives your newly formed company a working business account and the online payment tools — Stripe, PayPal and card processing — it needs to actually get paid.

A registered company that cannot receive money is just paperwork: you can't invoice, you can't pay suppliers, and you can't switch on a checkout. Non-resident founders are also the group providers reject most often — usually not because the business is weak, but because the application arrived without the address proof, activity description and document format the provider quietly expects. Getting an account opened comes down to preparation, not luck.

What's included

One service covers both sides of getting paid — the account where the money lands and the processors that collect it from your customers.

  • Business account or EMI introductions matched to your jurisdiction — Wise, Mercury, Payoneer and local options
  • A document pack built to each provider's onboarding format: formation documents, proof of address and a clear activity description
  • Stripe and PayPal readiness — merchant account setup so your checkout can go live
  • Card processing and a payment link or checkout connected to your website
  • Multi-currency receiving accounts (USD, EUR, GBP and more), often with local account details
  • Guidance on which provider fits your model, volume and customer countries
  • Help re-applying with a stronger profile if a first application is declined
  • One point of contact from company formation through to your first payment

How it works

  1. We review your business

Your country, customers and expected payment volume decide which providers are realistic — and we tell you honestly if a combination is going to be difficult.

  2. We prepare the pack

Formation documents, proof of address and a clear business description, formatted the way each provider's onboarding expects to see them.

  3. You apply

You complete the provider's own onboarding in your company's name, and we stay on hand to answer every question along the way.

  4. You start taking payments

Once the account is live we connect Stripe, PayPal or card processing to your site, so money can start coming in.

Who it's for

  • E-commerce sellers who need Stripe, PayPal and multi-currency payouts from marketplaces
  • Freelancers and developers invoicing international clients who want to be paid in USD, EUR or GBP
  • Digital agencies and SaaS founders running subscriptions and recurring card payments
  • Exporting SMEs paying overseas suppliers and receiving across several currencies
  • Non-resident founders who were rejected before and need a cleaner, provider-ready application

Why Yorkmark

On your own, the usual outcome is a rejection with no reason attached — an address that doesn't match, a business description that reads as high-risk, or a provider that simply doesn't onboard your country. We don't hold your money and we're not a bank, so we can't promise an approval; that decision always rests with the provider. What we can do is prepare the application the way providers want to see it, keep more than one door open at the same time, and give you a clear plan to re-apply if the first answer is no.

Frequently asked questions

Which banks and EMIs do you work with?

For non-resident companies we most often use providers that onboard remotely — Wise, Mercury and Payoneer — alongside local bank and EMI options that suit your country. We match the provider to your jurisdiction, business model and where your customers pay from, rather than pushing a single name.

Do I need to travel to open the account?

Not with the providers we work with — Wise, Mercury and Payoneer complete onboarding online, in your company's name. Traditional high-street banks often still require an in-person visit, so we steer non-residents toward the remote options first.

Can you guarantee my account will be approved as a non-resident?

No — and be careful with anyone who does. The decision always belongs to the provider and depends on your business profile. What improves the odds is preparation: a clean, provider-ready application and more than one provider in play, so a single 'no' isn't the end. Non-resident applications succeed far more often when they arrive in the right format, and that is exactly what we prepare.

Can I connect Stripe or PayPal?

Yes. Once your company and business account are set up, we help you connect Stripe, PayPal or the card processor that fits your model, and wire the checkout into your website so you can collect from customers.

Which currencies can I hold and receive?

The online providers we use give you multi-currency accounts — typically USD, EUR and GBP, often with local account details in each — so you can receive from marketplaces and clients in their own currency and avoid paying to convert twice. The exact currencies depend on the provider and your jurisdiction.

Which countries work best for payments?

US LLCs and UK Ltds have the widest provider and processor coverage. Estonia and Singapore are also strong. If your preferred combination is difficult for banking, we'll tell you honestly before you commit.

How long does it take to open an account?

Usually 1–3 weeks after your company and tax or registration number are ready. Online providers such as Wise and Payoneer are fastest; full banks take longer. We prepare the document pack in parallel with formation, so there's no gap once the company exists.

What if my account application is declined?

A decline from one provider is rarely the end — we introduce you to more than one, so there is usually another door already open. We look at why it happened, strengthen the profile, and help you re-apply. We never present a bank's approval as something ours to grant.
