Privacy Policy
What personal data Yorkmark collects, why we need it, how long we keep it and the rights you have over it.
Who we are
Yorkmark provides company formation and administrative services. For the data described here, Yorkmark is the data controller. You can reach us at [email protected] for any question about this policy.
What we collect
Identity data you provide to form a company (name, date of birth, nationality, identity document), contact data (email, phone), company data (proposed name, activity, ownership structure), payment metadata from our payment provider, and basic technical data from your visit such as IP address and pages viewed.
Why we collect it
To perform the contract you enter into with us, to comply with legal obligations including anti-money-laundering and identity verification rules in the jurisdictions where we file, and to communicate with you about your order. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising profiling.
Who we share it with
Company registries and government authorities in the jurisdiction you choose, local agents and notaries where the procedure requires one, banking and payment providers you ask us to introduce you to, and our own service providers for hosting, email and payments. Each of them receives only what is necessary for that step.
International transfers
Because we form companies in other countries, your data is transferred to registries, authorities, local agents and processors located outside your own country, including outside the EEA. We rely on an appropriate safeguard for each transfer — an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, or your explicit instruction to file in that jurisdiction. Payment processing runs through Stripe; card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by us.
How long we keep it
For as long as we provide services to you, and afterwards for the period local law requires us to retain records of a formation file. Where no retention obligation applies, we delete or anonymise the data.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask for deletion where no legal retention obligation applies, object to processing, or ask us to transfer it to another provider. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within thirty days.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your data, contact us first at [email protected] and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access limited to the people working on your file. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will inform you and the relevant authority as required.
Changes
If this policy changes we publish the new version on this page. Material changes are announced by email to active clients before they take effect.
